To start our crazy week of appointments and activities, yesterday Matt had an appointment in Seattle at UW for a regular CF clinic visit. As it happens Matt has been feeling under the weather, so we were pretty sure it was time for a "clean out" as well.
"Clean outs" for those of you who aren't familiar, are usually about 2 weeks worth of IV and oral antibiotics and steroids to beef Matt up. It can be done either in the hospital or on Home Health Care, where he just hooks himself up to the med pump and what not. They're usually pretty comparable as far as health outcome, but Matt likes to do half and half. The hospital gets to cook and clean for him the first week, and then I get to the second! LOL But this time we opted for just Home Health Care, since the next week and a half are so jam packed with good times! LOL
So Monday was UW, Tuesday is Option Care and OB, Wednesday is U/S, Thursday and Friday we don't have anything "scheduled" but we'll see how that goes, Saturday I'm going to a cousin's baby shower (who happens to be due the same day we are!), Sunday is the CF walk, and Monday a Family Dr appt!
Whew! So we will be hopping all over town this week! We'll see how much energy we actually have for the walk this Sunday!
